this page covers kalos.hair, the KALOS launch website. the KALOS app will have its own policy when it opens.
what we collect
- waitlist: your email address, which form you used, and a referral code if you arrived through a friend’s link.
- barbers who reach out: whatever you send us by email or Instagram DM.
- basic usage: anonymous page views and button clicks through Vercel Analytics. it uses no cookies and does not identify you.
- abuse protection: a salted, one-way hash of your IP address, kept for up to a day to limit repeated submissions. we never store the raw IP.
how we use it
we use your email to confirm you joined and to tell you when KALOS opens and is available near you. that’s it. we don’t sell your information or share it for advertising.
who handles it
your information is stored with Supabase (database), the site runs on Vercel (hosting and analytics), and emails are sent through Resend. each processes data only to provide that service to us.
your choices
every email has an unsubscribe link. to see, change or delete what we have about you, email deacon@kalos.hair and we’ll take care of it.
how long we keep it
we keep waitlist and application details until KALOS launches in your area and for up to 12 months after, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

the waitlist is for people 13 and older.
