the list, and what lands in your inbox.
how do i know i’m on the waitlist?
after you join, the page shows a match card and we send a confirmation email titled “it’s a match: you + KALOS” from deacon@kalos.hair. if it isn’t in your inbox, check the promotions or spam folder, then drag it to your inbox so the launch email lands there too.
i joined but never got the email.
check promotions and spam first. if it still isn’t there, email us from the address you signed up with and we’ll check the list by hand.
how many emails will i get?
one confirmation when you join, then one more on dec 1 when the app opens. that’s it.
how do i unsubscribe?
every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. tap it and confirm, and we stop emailing you. you can also email us and we’ll take you off the list.
how does the invite link work?
your confirmation email and the match card both show your personal invite link. when 3 friends join with it, you get into the november beta before KALOS opens to everyone. it’s still free for all of you.
can i change the email i signed up with?
join again with the new address, then email us from the old one and we’ll remove it.

when can i use KALOS?
KALOS opens on the App Store on dec 1, 2026 in north seattle: U District, Wallingford, Fremont, Ballard, Roosevelt, Ravenna, Green Lake, Greenwood and Phinney Ridge. waitlist friends who bring 3 people get in during the november beta.
does KALOS cost anything?
no, it’s free for clients. you pay your barber for the cut like you always do, and KALOS never adds a fee.
is there an android app?
iPhone comes first. join the waitlist and we’ll tell you when android is ready.
i’m not in north seattle. can i still join?
yes. join the waitlist from anywhere and we’ll email you when KALOS reaches your area.
something in the app isn’t working.
email us with your iPhone model, iOS version, what you tapped and what happened. a screenshot or screen recording helps a lot.
privacy and your data
your photos stay yours.
who sees my photos?
only you, until you send a request. then the barber you picked sees your look and notes for that appointment.
how do i delete my data?
email us from the address you used and ask us to delete it. we remove your waitlist details and confirm by email.
what do you collect on this website?
your email if you join the waitlist, anonymous page views, and a one-way hash of your IP address for a day to stop spam. the privacy page has the full list.
